Landscapes of the Zodiac is a touring exhibition of oil paintings by artist Aia Leu.

The paintings are based on the twelve astrological zodiac signs and explore them through Irish landscapes, colour and symbolism. Many of the paintings are inspired by places in County Kerry, including the Devil’s Punchbowl, Torc Waterfall and Killarney House gardens.

Created in County Kerry, the series combines observations of nature with imagination, mythology, and personal interpretation. The exhibition invites visitors to experience the zodiac as a visual journey through Irish landscape, seasons, and human connection to the natural world.

About the artist:

Aia Leu is a symbolist landscape artist based in Kenmare, County Kerry. Born in 1971 in Formentera, Spain, she spent her childhood between London, India, Nepal, and Switzerland. She comes from an artistic family and is the granddaughter of Swiss artist Eva Aeppli.
